Water Pressure Restored Following Power Outage

STONY PLAIN, AB: Water pressure has been restored to Stony Plain following a temporary disruption earlier today.
This occurred after a brief power outage at the Meridian Reservoir, which supplies water to the community. Backup pumping was activated quickly to maintain service, and our Utilities team is continuing to monitor the system closely.

STONY PLAIN, AB: Construction is underway on the new nondenominational municipal cemetery. Located on Rosenthal Road (Range Road 12), Phase 1 of the project is expected to be completed by October 2025, and the cemetery is anticipated to open in 2026.
